Purpose of This Resource

This is a private reference site with no authority over any public office. It does not store official booking files, court documents, or custody records. Staff cannot verify whether someone is in jail, arrange a release, alter a booking file, or submit forms to an agency or court.

The site directs readers toward official Ottawa County jail, sheriff, court, Kansas corrections, federal, and immigration custody resources. It also provides access to independent search tools. Each record holder controls its own information and procedures.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the site only for lawful purposes.
• Do not use any information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
• Do not try to enter accounts, systems, files, or restricted areas without authorization.
• Do not operate automated bots, crawlers, scrapers, or bulk collection tools against the site.

No Consumer Reports

Ottawa County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information reached through the site for any purpose regulated by the FCRA, including:

• Making hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions;
• Evaluating a tenant, lease applicant, or housing request;
• Determining creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance premiums;
• Deciding eligibility for a license, permit, or government program; or
• Making any other decision covered by the FCRA.

We are not responsible for another site’s content, privacy practices, data handling, security, availability, or changes. Review that provider’s terms before using its service.

Any dispute concerning these terms or use of the site must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. Public-record access remains subject to the Kansas Open Records Act, K.S.A. 45-215 through 45-223, as applicable to the government record holder.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed. Every remaining provision will continue in effect.
